Augusta Preparatory Day School (APDS) is a non-sectarian independent school in Augusta , Georgia. It accepts students from 3 years of age through Twelfth Grade. ==APDS== Augusta Preparatory School began with thirty-eight students on September 5, 1961 in grades 7-12. Augusta Country Day School was founded in 1972, and accepted students from Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Augusta Preparatory Day School was formed in 1988, when Augusta Country Day School and Augusta Preparatory School merged.〔 Today, APDS is divided into three schools. The Lower School enrolls students age 3 through grade 4. The Middle school enrolls students in grades 5 through 8.
